We are back from Disneyland

Lucy is officially obsessed with Princesses and she has good reason.

We loved spending time with family.

And going on fun and scary rides but not waiting in ridiculously long lines to get our pictures taken with characters:).

Our trip was almost without a hitch but on the second day Jocey started complaining that her legs hurt and by early afternoon she couldn't walk at all and she had spots all over her legs (not as bad as picture above). Sister, Melanie, urged us to take her to the ER immediately. Turns out, it was the best case scenario and she has HSP and she will be fine. She is experiencing a lot of pain and will have to have some follow-up appointments but she is fine and HSP is not contagious, thankfully. Don't worry, I was stressed out and very relieved to find out that she is okay and that it is't contagious.

More posts to follow.

Sisters

We know she can be a bit fiesty and really sassy sometimes but she is the best sister. J and L were inseparable all weekend. They even took a nap together.

What do you think about Lucy's very own stander? We love the head support.

In other news, we are on our way south to spend the week with family at the happiest place on earth! This is huge for us (we haven't gone anywhere more than 40 min. away with Lucy for the past 1.5 years). Wish us luck!

Catching Up

*Cake decorated by D and J
Dallin really wanted a Costco chocolate cake for his birthday. I don't think it made anyone as happy as it made Lucy. She laid there all night and would not let me move her (or the cake).

Now whenever she sees a cake she yells "Happy Birthday!"

Chinese New Year

Before I get even more behind...Lucy and I ventured to Dallin's school for their Chinese New Year Celebration at the beginning of the month. We thought we got a great spot (in the shade) but it ended up being 'back stage'. The first grade classes did a splendid job celebrating the year of the rabbit and we were thoroughly entertained. Lucy, on the other hand was worried about the dragon's laying on the ground and kept asking "dragon...okay?" over and over and over. She also wanted me to "hold" her the entire time and my back was killing me. I am unable to be supportive in the classroom and at school but Dallin really appreciated us coming, he was so cute (even though I could tell he was super awkward dancing around holding a moon, Ha!).

ABC

We are so grateful that Lucy is able to talk (except late at night). We don't know why, with her condition, that Lucy has the ability to say so many things... we are just grateful and we think it is so cute.

I actually didn't know Lucy knew the entire ABC's. While I was getting her ready this morning, she saw the letters on my shirt and just started spouting out the ABC's!

Valentines Day - By Chad

This will be my much anticipated “debut” as a contributor to the blog you know as “Into Our Everyday.” By using this forum, I hope to treat a condition I am suffering from labeled “back-boosting.” It is best understood by comparison to the exact opposite condition, back-biting. I don't compliment people directly as often as I should. The other motivation may be that Valentine ’s Day was underwhelming in the Lunt household… but I digress.

While many of you may not have had the pleasure of meeting Cherisse, I will attempt to introduce you to the author of this blog. She is a flagship of the Mormon faith. She has embodied virtue and faith throughout her life, coupled with personal success and development. She is an extremely successful mother, as measured by the confidence, academic performance, character, and good health that her children display. She is an exceptional wife, as evidenced by the limited amount of chaos I have created since we met. Importantly, she is also a top-tier individual who expects and achieves greatness from herself. Were I to write more substantial proof of my assertions, I would certainly lose your interest before you came to the end of this post.

In conclusion, my wife is steamy hot and I love her to pieces. That is all.

He is 7 today!

Happy Birthday Lil' Guy!

*Time goes by so fast. I would just love to squeeze that little body and kiss those chunky cheeks right now. He is so big now and he tells me he will not hold my hand when we cross the street "I am not a baby, Mom".

Lucy's personality is blossoming

And we aren't sure what to do about it!
